Gift-wrapping on every order
Picture books, young-adult stories and comics, made by humans with pencils.

Our story
Doodlepop began in 2012 at a kitchen table in Pune, with one illustrator, one editor and a very patient cat. We wanted picture books that felt hand-made, so we made them by hand.
Today we are a small publisher of picture books, young-adult stories and comics, still drawing at kitchen tables and still answering every email ourselves.
Four steps, a lot of tea and exactly zero robots.
Every book starts as a messy idea on a napkin.
Illustrators draw each page by hand and colour it twice.
Soft paper, kind inks and sturdy stitching.
Gift-wrapped, signed and posted with a free bookmark.
The doodlers
A tiny team with big crayon energy.

Draws sleepy bears and sleepier cats.

Writes capes, caps and cliffhangers.

Rooftop stories for restless teens.

Colours everything, including the dog.

Reads every manuscript twice.

Keeps the presses humming.
We make the books we wished we had: funny, kind and a little bit wobbly.
