Orders are packed by hand in paper and reused crates. Fresh produce ships on set delivery days for your area, usually within 1 to 2 days of harvest; pantry items ship in 1 to 2 working days and take 3 to 6 days across India. You will receive a tracking link by email and message. Shipping is free above a minimum order value shown at checkout; below it a flat fee applies. Perishable items travel cool in insulated boxes in warm months. If we cannot deliver on the chosen day we will contact you before the courier is sent out.
Fresh and perishable food cannot be returned, but if anything arrives damaged, spoiled or not as described, send a photo within 24 hours and we will replace it or refund it in full. Unopened pantry items in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery; write to us first so we can arrange the pickup. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 7 working days. Glass jars and bottles you send back with a later order earn a small refund.
We collect your name, email, phone number and delivery address only to take and deliver your orders and to tell you about our opening if you ask us to. We do not sell or share your data, except with the courier and payment partners needed to complete your order. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to hello@rootsandco.example.
Prices are shown in rupees and include applicable taxes. Because we sell what is in season, we may change prices or withdraw a product before an order is confirmed, and we will offer a close alternative. Product photos are as accurate as we can make them, but natural produce varies in size and colour. By placing an order you agree to these terms. These terms follow the laws of India and any dispute will be heard in the courts of our home city.
